In 2010, RedOne was named BMI’ s Songwriter of the Year and announced his joint venture with Universal Music, 2101 Records. Rock/Pop fusion artist Porcelain Black and Swedish-Congelese artist Mohombi are the first artists on 2101 Records. While Mohombi has garnered severalsuccessful international singles in Europe while performing around the globe, Porcelain Blacksuccessfully released her first single “ This Is What Rock N’ Roll Looks Like” while landing aspot on the I AM MUSIC II tour with Lil Wayne, Travis Barker and Nicki Minaj in 2011.
