BK & Dad are a rock duo made up of Leo (vocals / electric guitar) and Pip (drums). The Welsh two -piece are rereleasing their Loggerhead EP with a bonus additional digital track on June 29th via Gravy Records (The Pearl Harts/ God Damn/ Bad Grammar). The turbo rockers throw a cascade of “Kingdom Of Fear” noise at you, with Sabbath detours of gunning drums, wind bitten rock outs and mouldering quarry psych.

 Norwich based BK & Dad have a sense of longing for their Aberystwyth homeland, even naming themselves after a local firm of scrap merchants. This longing is translated into their overall art, with their 'stupidly good' (The Quietus) live show replete with astonishing visuals of Welsh landmarks including Snowdonia. They deliver a raw, explosive, bracing, psych-rock punch live show which has seen them perform at the XFM X-posure all dayer and Artrocker New Blood Festival.

 Stuart Maconie likes them enough to play them on his 6 music Freakzone show, John Kennedy of Xfm is a fan and they've supported the likes of Part Chimp, Acid Mothers Temple, Acoustic Ladyland and Xaviers. They've been likened to the Melvins, The Jesus Lizard, the urgent catharsis of Shellac and the hypnotic trance-outs of the Boredoms. All of which they love but they're a Fluxus outfit — forever exploring.
