Jared Leto has revealed that he hasn't seen his award-winning film Dallas Buyers Club yet.

The 30 Seconds to Mars frontman bagged the Best Supporting Actor Oscar at the weekend for his role in the flick, which saw him play a transgender Aids sufferer.

Speaking on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Leto admitted that he hasn't plucked up the courage to watch the film yet, with the actor wanting some breathing space instead.

He said: "I have not seen the film yet. I think one day I will watch it, because, you know, I'll be curious at some point. But it was such an intense role. It's better for me to just leave it alone right now."

Leto's Dallas Buyers Club colleague Matthew McConaughey meanwhile bagged the Best Actor Oscar for his part in the film.
