Jared Leto: 'I'm reading scripts and I have some great opportunities'

30 Seconds To Mars hitmaker Jared Leto has confessed that he has started reading film scripts again.

The superstar took a break from the movie world to focus on his band, but made a stunning comeback this year with his role as Rayon in the Golden Globe and Oscar-winning offering, 'Dallas Buyers Club'.

He has now revealed to Associated Press that new scripts are coming in thick and fast, and he's excited at the offers he is receiving:

"I'm looking at scripts and reading scripts. Which is interesting because I didn't read scripts for years before 'Dallas Buyers Club'. But now you have opportunities to work with people that you really respect or admire, people whose work has been inspiring and influential."

When asked if he would consider getting behind the camera for a directorial role at some point, the 'Closer To The Edge' rocker added: "I think that would be really great. And when I have the right story to tell I'll certainly do that."
