50 Cent suffered an embarrassing moment earlier this week as he threw the first pitch at a baseball game.

The rapper was invited to throw the ball at the Pirates Vs Mets game on Tuesday (May 27) in New York.

However, the US star managed to misthrow the baseball, skewing it sideways into a board at the side of the pitch.

The embarrassing throw didn't seem to deter 50 Cent, however, who smiled off the mishap.

The rapper followed in the footsteps of Canadian star Carly Rae Jepsen, who suffered a similar fate last year.

The singer threw the first pitch at a baseball game in Florida, but she softy chucked the ball into the ground.
