50 Cent on Justin Bieber racism row: "He's still a baby and he's lost"

50 Cent has lent his sympathetic support to Justin Bieber after the singer was caught up in a racism row.

Two separate videos of the singer making jokes involving racist language a number of years ago emerged recently, with the 20-year-old making two apologies.

Speaking to The Sun, 50 Cent believes that the 'Boyfriend' man is still a "baby" and isn't a racist at heart.

He said: "I don't think he's racist. I don't think even he knows who he is at this point - he's so young. When you see people become huge stars real early, it's tough for them. You have to grow up with all these expectations. I think Justin's still a baby and he's lost."

The rapper added: "That people are saying he is may actually affect him and turn him into one. I've been so many things I'm not because of things that people said I am. But I think he will be alright."

Bieber's mentor Usher meanwhile recently commented that the racial slurs were "unfortunate".
