50 Cent pleads not guilty to attacking ex-girlfriend

50 Cent has pleaded not guilty to charges of domestic violence and vandalism.

As previously reported, the rapper - real name Curtis Jackson - was charged in July with one count of domestic violence and four counts of vandalism.

They related to an alleged incident involving ex-girlfriend Daphne Narvarez, with the US star said to have also caused $7,100 (£4,647) worth of damage at her home.

He has now plead not guilty to the charges. If convicted of all the allegations, Jackson could face up to five years in jail and $46,000 (£30,000) in fines.

The rapper meanwhile recently appeared to dismiss speculation that his legal troubles have been delaying the release of his new album.
