Rap heavyweight 50 Cent has signed up for an account with mobile app 'Hang w/', which allows people to interact directly with each other through their smart phones.

The app is described as "the new live broadcast video streaming iPhone app that will change the way you use social media" and the superstar has joined in order to share content with his fans as well as talk to them personally.

Speaking about 'Hang w/', 50 Cent explained that it's an exciting new platform for him to access his listeners through:

"Hang With has the power to connect people to content and brands in ways never before possible. I am excited to use Hang With to connect with my fans and to watch the platform grow because of its unique and exciting way of connecting people.”

Earlier today (August 20), Fiddy took to his official Twitter page and told his 7.3 million followers that if they follow him on the app he will treat them to exclusive new music: "Tomorrow at 6:00pm new music follow me on Hang W/ don't miss it.#smsaudio."
