5 Seconds Of Summer's Ashton reveals what made him realise he wanted to pursue music

Heartthrob Ashton Irwin, of 5 Seconds To Summer fame, has revealed that listening to an album by rockers Green Day made him truly realise that he wanted to pursue a career in music at whatever cost.

Writing on his official Twitter page earlier today (April 22), the 'She Looks So Perfect' drummer explained that hearing the band's 'Bullet In A Bible' live album was the 'defining moment' that helped him to decide on putting all of his energy into being in a band:

"My favourite recording in history. Helped me discover what I wanted to do in life... Rock out and entertain people!"

His bandmate Calum Hood posted a similar message to his own social media account this afternoon and explained that being part of the group is something he is always so proud of and excited by: "Wouldn't trade this feeling for nothing! Not even for a minute."
