5 Seconds Of Summer on success: 'Our financial situation hasn't changed!'

Australian pop-rock band 5 Seconds Of Summer may be well on their way to global stardom, but the lads have revealed that the money hasn't come flooding in from touring and sales of merchandise or their music as of yet.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph in their home country, member Calum Hood confessed that their financial situation "hasn’t really changed" and when quizzed if they have seen big profits from their career to date he added: "Definitely not much."

Guitarist Luke Hemmings reinforced Hood's suggestion that they're not 'rolling in it' and said: "Nooooo, definitely not.”

He then spoke briefly about the state of the music industry and admitted that you have to be huge to benefit from record sales: "People don’t buy as much music as they used to, it’s very hard to break through. You have to be quite big."
