The lads in Australian band 5 Seconds Of Summer have promised fans a treat later today in the form of a 'funny' video they're calling 'The Lost Tapes'. 

Writing on his official Twitter page earlier this evening (May 29), drummer Ashton Irwin explained that the band will upload the clip to YouTube later on tonight:

"#5soslosttapes is out in a little bit :) it's funny hope ya like it :-) x uploading this on our youtube channel in the next 2 hours. http://www.youtube.com/hemmo1996  #5sosTheLostTapes."

It has also now been confirmed that 5SOS have recorded a Green Day tribute that will feature on an upcoming collaboration CD for Kerrang! magazine. Irwin admitted that it was a great project to work on: "Can not wait for you all to hear our Green Day tribute."
