5 Seconds of Summer have debuted a football song they recorded for BBC Radio 1.

The Australians teamed up with the radio station's Scott Mills to create a tune to celebrate this summer's 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The track sees the band talk about wearing your 'heart on your sleeve' and it enjoys an anthemic chorus.

The blurb for the song - which is called 'Heart Upon Our Sleeve' - video says:

"5 Seconds of Summer take us behind the scenes of the making of the Perfect Football Single, with a more than a little help from Scott Mills. Watch out for cameo appearances from One Direction, Tinie Tempah, You Me @ 6, and Gary Lineker and the BBC Sport family."

The 2014 FIFA World Cup meanwhile is being held in Brazil and its official anthem has been recorded by Pitbull.
