5 Seconds Of Summer share their go-to chat-up lines

Australian heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer have shared their favourite chat-up lines and flirting techniques in a new interview with We Love Pop magazine.

The band's drummer, Ashton Irwin, confessed that having an accent is something that tends to work in his favour before he has even tried to flirt and admitted that he especially likes the way British girls talk because it sounds "cooler".

Michael Clifford, meanwhile, explained that he has no tricks up his sleeve when it comes to getting girls' attention and said: "Yeah, I just go with normal conversation..." 'Don't Stop' hitmaker Calum Hood echoed this sentiment, adding that he just leads with a simple, "Hi, How are you?"

Back in May, the lads opened up about their past relationship experiences and Clifford told Top Of The Pops magazine that he once sent a girl flowers only to discover that she wasn't even single: "I sent flowers to a girl who had a boyfriend, but I honestly didn't know. She thought it was sweet, but then told me she was taken."
