Earlier this afternoon (June 24), Australian heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer shared handwritten lyrics to their new track 'Amnesia,' which was written by Good Charlotte's Joel and Benji Madden. 

The band accompanied the snapshot of the handwritten lyrics, which was shared via their official Instagram page, with the following explanation:

"This is the only track we haven’t written on the album. It’s a standout for us because it was so incredible to write with the Madden Brothers in the past, and they had this song they wrote a while ago but couldn’t find anyone it suited… The song has so much meaning. It’s one of those songs that’s really heartfelt on the album, and it’s really special to us as a band. #5sosAmnesia#FinallyA5sosAlbum."

'Amnesia' has since shot into the UK iTunes chart at No. 1 and it also hit the top spot on New Zealand's iTunes singles chart. The lads will perform in Amsterdam later tonight in support of One Direction on the boyband's Where We Are tour.
