All Time Low singer Alex Gaskarth has revealed his pride at seeing 5 Seconds of Summer release their first album.

The Australian group are unleashing their self-titled debut effort around the world at the moment and it is set to become a smash hit.

Gaskarth co-wrote a number of songs on the record, such as 'End Up Here' and 'Long Way Home'.

Speaking on Twitter today (June 27), the singer wrote: "Did the 5 Seconds of Summer record come out, or...? Seriously, so proud of these dudes. Pick it UP if you haven't already.

"America's gotta wait a bit longer. Worth it though. ;),"

The album is due to be released in the UK on Monday (June 30) and in the US on July 22.
