5 Seconds of Summer have confirmed an Australia and New Zealand tour due to take place next year.

The lads will head out on their Rock Out With Your Socks Out jaunt in the region in June.

They run will kick off at Auckland's Vector Arena on June 18 before hitting Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

The Australians will then round things off in Adelaide and Perth.

The news follows the reveal of European dates, which will take place in May and June.

The tour will come in promotion of the band's recently released self-titled debut album. The new dates are as follows:

• June 18 - Vector Arena, Auckland    
• June 20 - Allphones Arena, Sydney 
• June 23 - Brisbane Entertainment Centre
• June 25 - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
• June 27 – Adelaide Entertainment Centre
• June 29 - Perth Arena
