Australian boy band 5 Seconds Of Summer have shared what they think really makes a girl look perfect to them.

Whilst on their number one hit ‘She Looks So Perfect’ they sing, “You look so perfect standing there in my American Apparel underwear” the group apparently like a different mode of dress.

When asked by the New York Post what makes a girl look perfect in real life, Luke Hemmings responded:

“I like band tees and ripped jeans. [And she should be] a little bit strange.”

On the subject of that particular song’s lyrics and news that sales of men’s American Apparel underwear have increased by ten percent since their track went viral, Calum Hood said:

“If American Apparel men’s briefs are going up in sales, then I’m happy. My job is done.”

When asked if he would ever actually get a girl’s name tattooed in a heart – as sang about on ‘She Looks So Perfect’ – Ashton Irwin admitted:

“One of my mom’s ex-boyfriends has my mom’s name tattooed on his arm. Way awkward. I learned my lesson from that.”
