5 Seconds of Summer say they want to "see as many people" as they can in order to get their music out there.

The band recently released their self-titled debut album and they have been on a non-stop promontional run to support the record.

They have also supported One Direction on tour in Europe and Calum Hood told Rock Sound that this year has been flat out for the Australians.

He said: "This year we haven't really stopped working, travelling places. We want to go everywhere and see as many people as we can because being in this band is like...the Magic Bus. You go everywhere. But it's really fun and I'm having the time of my life."

5 Seconds of Summer meanwhile are due to join up with One Direction again in North America from August 1.
