5SOS announce debut headlining U.S. tour and confirm that work on second album has begun

Australian heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer have confirmed that they will be heading out on their very own U.S. tour next summer.

During their interview with Ryan Seacrest this morning (July 30), the lads made a really exciting announcement and explained that they have finalised details of a headlining jaunt that will take them around America in July 2015.

Drummer Ashton Irwin explained: "So. We're doing another one (show at The Forum in Los Angeles) on November 16, which we just added - it's on the Sunday! But, we also have a tour! We do. We've got a tour. Hopefully we're coming to a city or suburb near you. Hopefully you guys come, otherwise we'll be... ha!"

When asked when the run is due to kick off, Irwin told listeners that it won't be for another year but plans are now set in stone and they can't wait: "It starts July next year... it's a little while away, but we'll actually have a lot done by them. We're working on our second album already."

'She Looks So Perfect' rocker Irwin then confessed that they're currently enjoying some downtime in Los Angeles: "We have fun, it's a good time. It's one of my favourite places. It reminds me a lot of Sydney."
