5 Seconds of Summer have added some new shows to their North America tour schedule.

The Australians are due to hit the continent next year for a series of headline shows in July, August and September.

However, they confirmed today (August 8) that they have added gigs in Concord, Chicago and Wantagh to their schedule.

The Concord, CA date is taking place at the Pavilion on July 21 whilst the group will play the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Illinois on August 2.

The third new concert is at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh on September 2.

Tickets for the new gigs will go on sale from 10am local time on Saturday (August 9).
