5 Seconds of Summer reach out to fans after iTunes Festival gig

5 Seconds of Summer have thanked their fans after making their debut at the iTunes Festival.

The Australians played a headline show at the month-long London event at the Roundhouse venue.

Their set went down a storm with fans inside the building and those watching via the internet from home.

They closed with their breakthrough single 'She Looks So Perfect' and guitarist Michael Clifford, who recently dyed his hair red, said on Twitter:

"MY FACE IS DRIPPING RED thank you to everyone who came today london. Love you lots."

Drummer Ashton Irwin said: "Thanks iTunes festival, you ruled. X."

5 Seconds of Summer meanwhile had earlier in the day performed a short set for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge.

They played a cover of Blink-182's hit track 'I Miss You' alongside their own song 'Amnesia'.
