5SOS on their fans' support: 'We never want them to stop screaming'

Australian superstars 5 Seconds Of Summer have revealed that seeing fans go crazy when they meet them or watch them perform is fantastic reassurance that together they chose the right career path.

Speaking to On Air with Ryan Seacrest recently, the heartthrobs explained that while it's very loud to be on stage in front of thousands of fans, they're always happy when their supporters are so enthusiastic about seeing them that they just scream and shout:

"We wear these things called in-ear monitors. I mean, it’s still loud, and it’s a good thing. You never want people to stop screaming. It’s more like when it’s like really intense and the crowd, like, it’s a mosh pit and people are like getting squashed. You have to kind of tell them to kind of chill out. Relax if the person in front of them is being pretzeled.”

On October 8, the boys will kick off a 5-date mini-tour called Viva 5SOS and when asked what people can expect from the short run, they teased: “Dude, we’re playing all new songs. We’re playing some album tracks and basically it’s just going to be a party.”
