5SOS's Ashton Irwin: 'I can't believe our tour with One Direction is almost over'

Australian pop-punkers 5 Seconds Of Summer have been supporting One Direction on their current Where We Are tour, but the run is about to come to a close and drummer Ashton Irwin admitted that it has been a great experience.

Writing on his official Twitter page this afternoon (September 23), Irwin explained that he can't believe it's almost over because they've been part of the production since May: "Can't believe this tour's nearly over... If you've been I hope you've had the time of ya life #wwa"

The final show is due to take place on October 5 at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami where the boys will open for One Direction one last time on this extensive jaunt.

Over the weekend, the lads performed live at the iHeartRadio Music Festival and confessed that they want fans to watch them and then immediately want to buy tickets for another show:  "I just think it's a high-energy rock show and we want people to have one of the best nights of their lives - or days of their lives - yeah, we just want them to have a good time."
