5 Seconds of Summer have confirmed details of their next single.

The Australians will release the track 'Good Girls' as the follow-up to their previous effort 'Amnesia'.

The band revealed on Twitter on Monday (October 6) that the tune will be available to pre-order from October 10, excluding the US, Canada and Mexico.

They wrote: "The next single is...GOOD GIRLS. You can preorder the EP from Oct 10 (excl. US/CA/MX)."

The single's artwork meanwhile appears to show the group lining up at a police station.

5 Seconds of Summer recently performed 'Good Girls' on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show.

The tune features on the band's self-titled debut album, which reached No.1 in the US earlier this year.
