5 Seconds of Summer have bagged four nominations for this year's ARIA Awards.

The Australian music awards ceremony is taking place on November 26 in Sydney and the 'She Looks So Perfect' pop-punks will vie for four gongs.

They are nominated in the Song of the Year, Best Pop Release, Breakthrough Artist and Best Group categories.

However, their nominations tally is dwarfed by Chet Faker, who has landed nine nods - including Album of the Year and Best Male Artist.

Sheppard have seven nominations, whilst '1000 Forms of Fear' star Sia has six.

Iggy Azalea meanwhile is tied with 5 Seconds of Summer in the nominations count.
