5SOS inspired in Mexico

Australian pop-punkers 5 Seconds Of Summer are currently in Mexico where they are playing a series of live concerts and they appear to be thoroughly enjoying their time in the country.

The band's drummer, Ashton Irwin, took to his official Twitter page earlier today (October 8) and told his 2.96 million followers that he was in awe of some musicians he watched perform at a bar: "Just been to two Mexican bars tonight, the musicians here are incredible.... I am now practicing in my hotel room lol, goodnight xx."

Members Michael Clifford and Luke Hemmings both shared updates about Mexico's love of tequila, with Clifford writing: "Mexico is awesomesauce. The drinks are cheap, and vinyls cool."

The 'She Looks So Perfect' hitmakers, meanwhile, have just been nominated for 4 ARIA Awards, and they were recognised in the Song of the Year, Best Pop Release, Breakthrough Artist and Best Group categories. The ceremony is due to take place in Sydney, Australia on November 26.
