Calum Hood, of 5 Seconds Of Summer, has revealed that his life could have turned out very differently if he would have followed his first love, which was football. 

In the band's new autobiography, 'Hey, Let's Make A Band', the 'She Looks So Perfect' hitmaker explained that he was really interested in becoming a professional footballer for years, but eventually discovered that his passion for music was even more intense:

"The love of rock and punk music brought Michael, Luke, Ashton and me together when we were at school, but when I was younger my life could have gone one of two ways. I really loved football and I wanted to become professional. My favorite team was Liverpool and I dreamt of walking alongside their captain, Steven Gerrard. But as soon as I discovered music, I knew it was the only thing I wanted to do."
