Ellen DeGeneres 'can't wait another 5 seconds' for 5SOS to perform on her chat show

Earlier this week, Australian pop-punk heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer delighted their fans by confirming that they will be performing on 'The Ellen Show'

The band is set to appear live on the well-loved programme next week on Wednesday, November 5 and after seeing their tweet about the exciting news, Ellen DeGeneres wrote back to them publicly and confessed that she's looking forward to it.

DeGeneres explained that she 'can't wait' for them to take the stage and wrote: "I can’t wait another 5 seconds. #5SOSonEllen RT @5SOS: We're performing on @TheEllenShow next Wednesday!"

Drummer Ashton Irwin also shared an update about being on 'The Ellen Show' in just 7 days' time and tweeted: "Cannot believe we are playing on The Ellen Show... Wow, it's gonna be epic lol - Ash."

Member Michael Clifford, meanwhile, took to his own social media page earlier today (October 29) and told his followers that the band have added a new track to their setlist, which he's really excited about: "Excited to be playing our song 'wrapped around your finger' at these upcoming shows :) one of my favourite songs we've done."
