Drummer Ashton Irwin, of 5 Seconds Of Summer fame, has revealed that he's getting a little stir-crazy now that the band has finished their run of live shows for the rest of 2014.

Writing on Twitter this afternoon, the star explained how now that DerpCon and the band's Forum concerts have been and gone he's bored and can't wait to get back on the road: "Is it bad that I already miss playing shows... I'm air drumming profusely ALL THE TIME." 

Tomorrow (November 20) is member Michael Clifford's 19th birthday and One Direction heartthrob Niall Horan took to his official Twitter page today to celebrate and wish him well: "It's @Michael5SOS birthday today! Wohooo! Happy Birthday brother! Looking forward to seeing you this week."

Irwin, meanwhile, shared an update with fans earlier this week and admitted he just had the 'best weekend of his life': "Hello! I just wanted to make a video to tell you guys and thank you guys for everything this weekend - the past weekend. It's been one of the most incredible weekends of my life. I can't believe we got to headline two Forums and got to play a show in Phoenix... I can't wait to take the show everywhere in the world and to see as many of you as we can. I love you so much."
