5 Seconds of Summer drummer Ashton Irwin has reflected on the band's three year anniversary.

The group celebrated the milestone this week and the Aussie took to Twitter to thank fans for their support along the way.

Irwin wrote: "5SOS has existed for three years now, never in my wildest dreams would I of guessed any of this could of happened, I love you all so much!"

The drummer then posted a link to a cover of All Time Low's 'Jasey Rae' that 5 Seconds of Summer recorded in 2012.

5 Seconds of Summer released their self-titled debut album earlier this year and it reached No.1 in the US.

They are due to return to the UK for a series of arena tour dates in June.
