5SOS's Michael Clifford: 'I couldn't be sadder to be apart from my band'

Australian pop-punk band 5 Seconds Of Summer travelled to the UK over the weekend for the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball, but guitarist Michael Clifford was unable to take the trip because he had lost his passport.

The lads played live in London as a three piece on Sunday, December 7 and Clifford was unfortunately left in the USA.

The rocker took to his official Twitter page late last night (December 8) and told his followers that he's really upset to see pictures of the other boys having fun in England without him: "I saw a picture of my band eating @NandosUK and I couldn't be sadder. I'll be over here in the corner."

Following their Capital FM performance over the weekend, frontman Luke Hemmings told his fans on Twitter that it 'wasn't the same' playing live without him: "Wasn't the same without Michael but we did our best, thanks jingle bell ball. We didn't actually have Michael's passport, that was a joke."
