5SOS reveal how Michael Clifford lost his passport: 'We've seen him boarding planes and losing tickets'

Australian pop-punk band 5 Seconds Of Summer stopped by BBC Radio 1 this morning for an interview with Nick Grimshaw and spoke about member Michael Clifford's recent passport drama.

Clifford is currently 'relaxing in America' while he figures out getting a new passport, but losing it over the weekend meant that he was unable to travel to the UK with the rest of his bandmates for their performance at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball.

The band's frontman, Luke Hemmings, told listeners that it's incredible Clifford managed to misplace the document at all because their management look after passports on any trip they take for the majority of the time:

"Our tour manager holds our passports and will give it to us before the flight. Then we'll have it for maybe an hour and then he'll take it back off us. In that time he's lost it."

The heartthrob went onto add that losing things is something that red-haired rocker Clifford is pretty good at: "I've seen Michael lose a ticket before he gets on the plane, I mean he's given it in the line and he's lost it."
