Drummer Ashton Irwin, of 5 Seconds Of Summer fame, has revealed that he loves spending time with his family over Christmas, but the fun can't start until after midday as he's not a morning person. 

Speaking to Digital Spy about his plans for December 25, the heartthrob confessed that he can't stand mayhem and excessive noise before twelve o'clock so always dreads the first half of the day:

"I get annoyed at my brother and sister because they're so rowdy and excited for Christmas. I sound like the Grinch, I have a good time… but past midday."

He took to his official Twitter page last night (December 22) and told his followers that he can't wait to enjoy some downtime in his hometown: "Over the next few weeks I am going to be a human music vacuum! Discover as much new stuff as I can! Also it's great fun driving mums little car again! It's like a go kart."
