Australian band 5 Seconds Of Summer are currently enjoying some down time and drummer Ashton Irwin just got back from an amazing few days in a beautiful mountainous arena. 

On January 7, the heartthrob told his fans that he was taking some time off to go on 'another adventure' and tweeted: "Going on another adventure. Talk to you guys really soon! Big big love xx"

He returned to the social networking site much earlier today (January 13) and shared a series of photographs from his road trip, which can be seen below, and accompanied them with the following caption: "I've been on an epic mountain adventure, and I missed you guys, here's some shots I took."

Upon seeing Irwin's tweet, bandmate Michael Clifford exclaimed "you're back!", to which the drummer replied: "I went to seek enlightenment with the monks in the mountains."

Speaking about taking time to enjoy his life recently, Irwin confessed to his fans that he feels well-rested: "I'm feeling good. I haven't felt this happy in a while."
