5 Seconds of Summer drummer Ashton Irwin says the band are aiming high with their next run of live dates.

The group are due to embark on their Rock Out With Your Socks Out world tour later this year, with shows in regions such as Europe and North America.

The lads are currently enjoying some downtime before they hit the road again and Irwin took to Twitter to talk about his preparation for the tour.

He said: "Training hard again to get fit for ROWYSO TOUR!

"Want to put on the best show possible for you guys. I'm so excited..."

The UK leg of the world tour meanwhile, which is scheduled for June, recently sold out.
