5 Seconds of Summer have taken part in Jimmy Kimmel's 'mean tweets' series.

The chat show host asks famous faces to read to the camera abusive messages they have been sent on Twitter.

The show aired a music edition of the skit on Monday (February 2) and 5 Seconds of Summer read out a tweet.

It reads: "I'd rather bathe in my own vomit than go see 5 Seconds of Summer on tour".

Bassist Calum Hood takes on the role of reading out the tweet.

Other music stars who feature in the amusing clip include Katy Perry, Sam Smith and Britney Spears.
