5SOS reassure fans that creative progress is being made

Aussie pop-punkers 5 Seconds Of Summer have reassured their followers that progress is being made where their second studio album is concerned.

The lads took a well-deserved chunk of time off over the Christmas period and are now back at it, and they tweeted this afternoon to let their fans know that all they're doing is working on new material: "If you ever wonder what we are up too we are literally writing every second of the day lol."

The heartthrobs recently confirmed that they're writing songs with the Madden Brothers, who co-wrote their hit single 'Amnesia': "Writing with MIKEY Clifford again tonight, the Madden Brothers and our mate Steve Robson."

In addition to working with Joel and Benji Madden again, frontman Luke Hemmings has been collaborating with Marianas Trench rocker Josh Ramsay, and 5SOS have also reunited with Goldfinger's John Feldmann.
