Australian pop-punk hitmakers 5 Seconds Of Summer have revealed that their new music is sounding great and they're anxious to share it with their fans. 

The lads posted an update on their collective Twitter page much earlier today (March 17) and explained that progress is being made and they're excited about what they're creating together: "Working super hard on all the new music! Hope you guys LOVE it when you finally get to hear some!!!"

Earlier this month, member Michael Clifford told his followers that there's one song in particular he and the guys wrote with the Madden Brothers that is amazing: "I don't think I've ever been more stoked on a song then the one we've wrote today @benjaminmadden @Luke5SOS @JoelMadden @MisterMikeGreen."

The 'She Looks So Perfect' heartthrobs, meanwhile, have been confirmed to perform at the 2015 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards later this month on March 28 and they confessed that it's an honour to be taking the stage: "We are so excited to be nominated and perform at the Kids' Choice Awards! It's our first time at the show and it's going to be awesome!"
