5 Seconds of Summer face logo copyright action

5 Seconds of Summer have seemingly ditched their long-standing logo due to copyright issues.

The band previously used a tally symbol as their logo, but they have recently started using an image featuring skulls and stars.

A fan asked bassist Calum Hood about the disappearance of the original logo, with the musician replying:

"Copyright brah."

It has been reported that the clothing company Undefeated - who also use a tally mark as a logo - launched legal action.

5 Seconds of Summer meanwhile are currently in Europe on their Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour.

They will return to the UK for a series of UK arena dates in June.
