5 Seconds of Summer tour won't be affected by Michael Clifford injury

The promoter for 5 Seconds of Summer's upcoming Australasia tour expect the dates to go ahead as planned despite guitarist Michael Clifford's recent pyro accident.

The Australian received minor injuries after he was caught in an on-stage flame on Saturday (June 13) at London's Wembley Arena.

He later uploaded a picture of himself wearing large bandages on his face.

However, Clifford returned to performing on Sunday (June 14) at the same venue - but the pyrotechnics weren't included.

Live Nation Australasia have now confirmed to Billboard that the band's upcoming tour of the region - which kicks off in Auckland on June 18 - won't be affected.
