5SOS: 'There's not a lot of room in our lives to see family'

'Don't Stop' heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer performed a monumental gig in their hometown of Sydney, Australia last night (June 20) and admitted that while the concert was one for the books where their amazing collective career is concerned, it was especially important as their families were able to attend.

Drummer Ashton Irwin told Sydney's Morning Herald that it was incredible to be able to include their loved ones in the milestone performance by having them in the crowd:

"It was just good to see them. There's not a lot of room ever in our lives to see our family. We don't have a lot of time off ever so it's good for what we do daily, performing, to include them... I think mum's pretty happy the drive wasn't too long."

Frontman Luke Hemmings also confessed that it was a special night, adding: "It's been a long time since they've seen us play. It's the first time I've seen my mum in like three months. "If it was in the city she'd be like 'the traffic'."
