5SOS's Ashton rocked so hard at stadium gig that he chipped his tooth

Aussie pop-punk outfit 5 Seconds Of Summer performed at Hershey Park in Pennsylvania last night (August 29) and drummer Ashton Irwin put so much energy into their set that he chipped a tooth.

Irwin took to his official Twitter page this morning and revealed that it was a very special gig and one he definitely won't ever forget:

"Headlined our first ever stadium tonight! It felt so special and such an incredible crowd of fans and music lovers [...] Chipped a tooth tonight, I went hard out lol... Thank you Hershey park, it was a night I'll remember forever."

Bass player Calum Hood also shared a message on the social media site, thanking fans at the show for making it such a fantastic night: "All 24,000 of you ROCKED tonight. Thank you for giving our first 'stadium' show."

The band, meanwhile, are gearing up to release their highly anticipated new studio album 'Sounds Good Feels Good' and they recently confirmed plans to tour the offering, tweeting: "100%, can't wait to tour this next album and try some things we haven't before."
