Aussie pop-punk heroes 5 Seconds Of Summer have revealed that One Direction's Harry Styles once rode a Segway while wearing no clothes in front of Luke Hemmings's mother, Liz. 

During their interview with Alan Carr for 'Chatty Man', which airs later this evening, the funnyman asked "is it true when you toured with 1D that Harry walks around nude a lot?" Sugarscape has now published a transcript from their chat and the lads talk openly about the embarrassing incident. 

Ashton Irwin kicked the discussion off by revealing that it was a one-time occurrence: "It was just once... I saw it! Full on ballsack!" Frontman Luke Hemmings added: "It wasn't walking, it was more on a Segway."

Guitarist Michael Clifford then explained that Styles's naked Segway outing brought him straight into the path of Hemmings's unfortunate mother: "The worst part was that Luke's mum was standing right there, and he comes in on the Segway, just butt naked. He comes in on the Segway, sees Luke's mum and turns around."

Irwin added that Styles struggled to keep control of the vehicle so ended up showing a lot more of himself than he wanted to: "It was like his first time on a Segway too so it was kind of awkward turning around and trying to hide things at the same time." 

Their interview and performance on 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' will be aired on Friday (October 9) on Channel 4 at 10pm in the UK.
