5SOS's Calum overwhelmed by the change band has been through

'She's Kinda Hot' hitmakers 5 Seconds Of Summer unveiled their new album 'Sounds Good Feels Good' a couple of weeks ago and the lads can't believe how much things have changed for them.

Calum Hood, who plays bass in the band, told the Los Angeles Times on release day (October 23) that the amount of press and attention they get now is overwhelming compared to what it was like when they first started out as a band:

"It's kind of a weird thought, isn't it? Back at the start, before we'd released any music and we were just doing, like, a radio show a day, it was easy to keep on top of everything. Now we're doing so much that it's impossible. I kind of just let it happen."

As previously reported John Feldmann, who produced the album, also told the newspaper that the band stuck to traditional and authentic recording methods to ensure the songs could really speak for themselves: "These guys wanted to make a statement with this record. It's a rock record with guitars and drums and an actual orchestra. We kept everything as real as possible — playing everything, not drawing the sounds on a screen."
