5SOS on album's global success: 'We've not had time to celebrate'

Aussie pop-punk band 5 Seconds Of Summer have enjoyed great acclaim with the release of their new album and they admitted that the reception it has received so far has overwhelmed them all.

Luke Hemings told Scotland's Daily Record that the commercial success of 'Sounds Good Feels Good' has blown them all away:

"You have to do a lot of s***t to make it work. I’m really happy the album has made it. We put a lot of heart and soul into it so for people to respond is really cool. We’ve not had time to celebrate just yet. We’ll get a chance to go to the beach in Australia and spend time with our families.”

Drummer Ashton Irwin confessed that the journey to Scotland was fairly laid back and quiet: "We had a police officer and were not mobbed not at all - just by working staff with daughters. I don’t think people knew we were coming up and it’s probably a bit awkward for people on the train to sit with 5SOS for five hours."
