5 Seconds Of Summer's Ashton Irwin has opened up about being newly single and confessed that he's not going to rush into another romantic situation anytime soon. 

Speaking to Scotland's Daily Record, drummer Ashton Irwin confessed that he's quite happy to be single for the time being and isn't looking for another girlfriend just yet: "No God. I’m not looking at a relationship again! I was seeing someone and now I’m not. I didn’t mind the handcuffs but won’t be looking for anyone soon. I’m freefallin' like Tom Petty.”

Bass player Calum Hood went onto joke about his own relationship status and added: “Yeah, I’m in a relationship. My wife is just waiting for a phone call and I’ve got three kids now.”

Irwin, meanwhile, recently told Howard Stern that dating when you're on the road is incredibly hard: "I tried... I tried to have a relationship and it just didn't work out. I've been away for six months and it just doesn't... I was kind of seeing someone for about a year, but I worked it out and I'd been with them for approximately two months out of that year."
