5SOS choose their spirit animal and 1D member they'd eat first

Aussie hitmakers 5 Seconds Of Summer have opened up about a variety of topics ranging from what spirit animal they would choose to which member of One Direction they would eat first if they were stranded on a desert island in a new interview with MTV News.

When asked what 5SOS's spirit animal would be, drummer Ashton Irwin confessed that he would have to pick a mythical creature: "A Loch Ness monster because we're kind of tall, but we have big legs so we're chunky down the bottom and skinny at the top... and no one likes us."

The lads were then questioned about supposedly fancying the Queen of England, to which bassist Calum Hood replied: "Yes (it's true), but no if it's offensive!" The heartthrob also chose which member of One Direction he would eat first on a desert island: "I'd go Liam (Payne) because he's quite muscular."

The lads will release their highly anticipated concert DVD, entitled 'How Did We End Up Here - Live at Wembley' on November 23, and recently told Scotland's Daily Record that it was a fun project to work on:

“We filmed a couple of thousand hours of footage and some things did get cut out because they can be classified as other types of films. Maybe I was jumping off a roof into a pool and there was some Tom Cruise s***. It’s a really good mix of our story as a band, super funny and sad sometimes. When you are in the bubble of the whole thing you don’t get to step back and see what you’ve done so it’s eye opening when you do.”
