5 Seconds of Summer have added another Sydney date to their 2016 tour.

The Australian group are due to hit the road next year on their Sounds Live Feels Live tour.

The jaunt, which comes in support of their 2015 album 'Sounds Good Feels Good', already confirmed one Sydney show.

However, another date in the Australian city has now been announced for October 5.

The gig will take place at the same venue - the Hordern Pavilion - and tickets will go on sale from December 9.

The band's Sounds Live Feels Live tour is also due to hit regions such as Europe and North America next year.

5 Seconds of Summer's album reached No.1 in the US and the UK when it was released in October.
