5SOS's Michael reveals ideal fan interaction: 'I wish it was like that'

Aussie pop-punk band 5 Seconds Of Summer have no shortage of attention from fans, but guitarist Michael Clifford has revealed that he wishes when they met their devoted followers that the interactions they had were a little more authentic.

In a new segment shared by the Rolling Stone, entitled "21 things you learn hanging out with 5SOS", Clifford explains that instead of simply signing merchandise and posing for photographs it would be great to have an actual conversation:

"Usually it's like, take a picture first and then sign. I can understand why, but I wish the dynamic was that you can go out and talk to fans. It's so f**king interesting if you can sit down for just five minutes and have a conversation. It would be so sweet."

On New Year's Eve, Clifford announced on Twitter that he has a good resolution for 2016: "I am so excited for 2016. I'm going to try and be happier with myself and never take anything that happens to me for granted. Happy new year."
