Chris Brown feeling more positive

Chris Brown insists he has turned a corner and is now in a good place mentally after what has been a difficult year.

His star fell considerably after his widely publicised assault of ex-girlfriend Rihanna in early 2009. Since then both concert ticket and album sales have plummeted.

Despite the setback Brown is determined to push on and has begun work on his next studio record 'F.A.M.E.' which is due out next year.

Explaining how he is feeling right now, Brown said: "Everything is good, I’m definitely - me personally and mentally - I’m a great guy now. I’m more of a person who is definitely more positive".

He added: "I have new music coming real soon; I’m in the studio, back and forth, continuously, just having fun," the 'Yeah 3X' singer added. "I’m going to continue to make great dance videos and just be me".

Watch Chris Brown's video for 'Deuces' below:

Queen man's plea to spare hedgehogs

Animal rights supporter, blogger and Queen guitarist, Brian May, is hoping to save the lives of Britain's unsuspecting hedgehogs on Guy Fawkes Night.

The annual celebration on November 5 involves building and igniting outdoor fires, as well as staging spectacular fireworks displays.

In a post on his website, May says: "If you are accumulating brushwood or branches and boxes, ready for your Guy Fawkes Night bonfire, please don't accumulate it where the bonfire will actually be. This is exactly the time when our small spiky native hedgehogs are looking for a sheltered place to hibernate through the winter months".

May continues: "It's all too easy to miss the fact that your early-prepared bonfire pile might have some small visitors hiding within it. So! Please be careful ... it's better bonfire technique anyway to build the pile on the day of burning it ... give those hedgehogs a chance to run off to a safer place!".

Rappers reunited: Eminem and Dr. Dre are back in the studio

Eminem and Dr. Dre are working together again after the US rapper revealed in an interview on internet station Sirius radio he was back in the studio with Dre.

"I'm in the studio right now, still working … I'll just say that. He's in the next room. There's nothing going on right now, but pretty soon he'll play a beat and I might rap to it."

He is thought to be working with Dr. Dre on the producer's much delayed 'Detox' album, which was supposed to be released this year, but was pulled by Dre after tracks were leaked on the internet.

The hip hop producer worked with Eminem in the early 90s, becoming a mentor and helping the rapper kick-start his career.

The Manic Street Preachers have been forced to cancel gigs tonight (October 28) and tomorrow (October 29) at Brixton's 02 Academy, as singer James Dean Bradfield is suffering from a nasty bout of laryngitis.

The Welsh rockers, currently touring Britain to promote their new album, 'Postcards From A Young Man', were forced to cancel shows in Birmingham and also last night's gig in Brixton after a doctor ordered Bradfield to rest.

The band have apologised to fans and Bradfield issued a statement on their website: "I would like to personally apologise to the fans. Nothing makes us feel worse than having to postpone a show. We were particularly looking forward to playing two nights at Brixton as we have such special memories of previous gigs at this venue. To say we are gutted about this situation is putting it mildly!"

The postponed shows have been rescheduled, and all tickets will remain valid for the following dates:
